Ardoq Achieves 100% Year-Over-Year Growth in U.S. Market

Ardoq, a SaaS company reinventing Enterprise Architecture (EA) for today's digital enterprise, today announced significant year-over-year growth and multiple executive appointments to support the company's expanding customer roster.

Ardoq's year-over-year growth is over 100% in the U.S. and over 80% globally. That growth has been fueled by a rapidly expanding customer list that in 2021 grew to include organizations such as Kuraray, Prospera and Renewable Energy Systems.

To support this rapid growth, Ardoq has appointed Duane Kotsen as VP of Customer Success & Transformation Services. Kotsen's focus in this newly created role includes enhancing customer experience and increasing scalability. He joins Ardoq with over 25 years of global experience in diverse software technology companies ranging from midsize startups to large global conglomerates, including Oracle, Blue Yonder (formerly JDA Software) and Deltek.

"When I met the smart, ambitious team at Ardoq and saw how the company was growing--and can continue to grow in a market ripe for disruption--I knew I wanted to be a part of it," said Kotsen. "I look forward to helping the company scale and shepherding our customers through change that is transformational to their business and bottom line."

Kotsen is the latest addition to a growing leadership team at Ardoq. Jason Baragry joined Ardoq earlier this year as Chief Enterprise Architect with over 25 years of experience working in enterprise architecture. His broad experience working with IT and business interfaces includes roles within software architecture and enterprise architecture consultancy, and he holds a PhD in computer science from La Trobe University.

Nick Murison also joined Ardoq earlier this year as Chief Information Security Officer. Murison spent over 15 years consulting for companies across the globe before joining Ardoq, where he is focused on continuously improving security, enabling the company to grow rapidly while meeting customers' needs in a safe and secure environment.

"Organizations are increasingly searching for tools that enable them to undergo profitable transformation journeys and navigate change with confidence," said Ardoq CEO and co-founder Erik Bakstad. "As we scale to meet this growing need, building out our leadership team with such experienced talent across critical areas of the business ensures we can continue to deliver solutions and customer experiences that set Ardoq apart."

The growth of Ardoq's leadership team and customer roster comes on the heels of significant industry recognition. Ardoq was acknowledged as a Representative Vendor in both the 2021 Gartner® Market Guide for Technologies Supporting a Digital Twin of an Organization and the 2021 Gartner® Market Guide for Application Portfolio Management Tools. Ardoq was also named a Leader in the 2021 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Enterprise Architecture Tools, published in November, and recognized with the Customers' Choice distinction in the Gartner Peer Insights "Voice of the Customer" for Enterprise Architecture Tools, published in May. This recognition follows a $26 million Series C fundraising round highlighted by overwhelming interest that pushed the round past the company's initial goal of $17 million.
