Can-Fite CEO Dr. Pnina Fishman to be Guest Speaker at 5th Annual NASH Summit 2021
Can-Fite BioPharma Ltd. (NYSE American: CANF) (TASE: CFBI), a biotechnology company advancing a pipeline of proprietary small molecule drugs that address inflammatory, cancer and liver diseases, today announced the Company's CEO Dr. Pnina Fishman will be a guest speaker at the 5th Annual NASH Summit 2021 which will take place on November 29 to December 2, 2021 as a virtual event. Dr. Fishman will deliver a presentation titled "A Phase 2a Dose finding Study of Namodenoson, an A3AR Agonist, in Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease and Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis" on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 1:30 pm ET.
Described as the industry's largest NASH conference, the 5th Annual NASH Summit aims to deepen understanding of early, translational and late-stage clinical science to support NASH candidates' entry to market.
Dr. Fishman will be one of 65 internationally renowned NASH experts presenting alongside other scientists, executives, researchers, and regulatory analysts from organizations including Novo Nordisk, Pfizer, Gilead, Harvard Medical School, Mayo Clinic, and the FDA and EMA (News - Alert).
Can-Fite's Namodenoson completed a Phase IIa study in NASH which met its primary endpoint of reducing liver fat content and inhibiting fibrosis. A Phase IIb study is underway.
