ZEDEDA Announces Final Keynote and Speaker Lineup for ZEDEDA Transform Conference


ZEDEDA, the leader in orchestration for the distributed edge, today announced the final round of featured speakers and keynotes for the second edition of ZEDEDA Transform, its industry conference that draws experts from across the edge computing and IoT landscape to discuss today's trends, challenges and opportunities.

The free, two-day online event will be held August 18-19 and is open to the public. Along with sessions covering many of the latest innovations in edge computing, IoT, AI, 5G and security, ZEDEDA Transform has added a second day dedicated to developers. That track will focus on navigating the complex hardware and software landscape at the edge, emphasizing the importance of open source collaboration.

The opening keynote, "Is the Edge Really Eating the Cloud?", will feature ZEDEDA Founder and CEO Said Ouissal in a panel discussion along with Tony Shakib, GM Azure IoT, Microsoft (News - Alert); Muneyb Minhazuddin, VP Edge Computing, VMware; and Keith Basil, VP Cloud Native Infrastructure, SUSE. Moderator Christian Renaud, Research Director for IoT at 451 Research, will lead a discussion of key industry trends and challenge the panelists to debunk some common myths about the future of computing.

"We've put together an impressive array of expertise from executives, analysts and influencers across edge computing and IoT," said Ouissal, who also closes out the Day 1 sessions with a fireside chat with Pierluca Chiodelli, VP Engineering Technologies, Edge Computing Offers, Strategy and Execution, Dell (News - Alert) Technologies. Day 1 of Transform is organized into four breakout tracks following the opening session: Edge Orchestration in the Real World, Vertical Trends (which covers energy, manufacturing, retail and more), Tech Trends and Business Considerations.
