Forcura Appoints Michelle Copenhaver as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships
Forcura, a healthcare technology company that enables safer patient care transitions and coordination, today announced that Michelle Copenhaver has joined the company in a newly created role as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. Copenhaver will build strategic relationships and alliances that contribute to Forcura's overall growth plan, while developing approaches that ensure expansion of Forcura's care coordination solutions across healthcare market adjacencies.
Copenhaver joins Forcura with more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She began her career in the clinical realm as a registered nurse and later as a healthcare business executive focusing on relationship management, business development, value-based care, network management, and social determinants of health. She will seek to partner with like-minded technology companies to create and promote personalized and holistic health experiences for patients on behalf of the providers that serve them.
"I'm thrilled to join Forcura and look forward to elevating partnerships and forming new, maybe unexpected relationships. As we seek ways to enhance interoperability and expand our footprint, we know that there is nothing more important than putting the needs of patients first."
Craig Mandeville, founder and CEO of Forcura, says of Micelle, "As the healthcare industry pivots closer to patient-centered care, Michelle recognizes that the key to this transformation is overall communication. Her outstanding record proves she knows how to bring people together as she works to innovate and pilot programming with new and existing partners."
With 31 million clinical document transactions per year, Forcura serves over 500 clients who provide care for more than a half a million patients every month. Forcura's technology empowers healthcare providers to function at their peak, working to standardize interoperability and integration among post-acute healthcare organizations, physicians and electronic health records. With plans to broaden their platform and services in 2021, Forcura is also expanding into the rehabilitation therapy sector while exploring additional healthcare lines of business and partnerships.
