As a high-stakes employment and business litigator, Fagundo routinely counsels national employers on a multitude of workplace issues, including wage and hour, worker classification, joint employer/single enterprise, religious and disability accommodations, discipline, terminations, reductions in force, executive employment agreements and background checks. She also defends companies in significant and complex cases involving claims for restrictive covenant violations, discrimination, collective FLSA/wage issues, contractual breaches, fraud, consumer disputes, professional liability and product liability. Fagundo's industry experience includes health care, restaurants and hospitality, retail, professional services, transportation and logistics, and media/entertainment.

Outside of her practice, Fagundo is known as an engaged leader who has served numerous community, civic and business organizations. She has served as president and chairperson of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association and as a member of the boards of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce and CredAbility. Fagundo was one of the driving forces behind the incorporation of the City of Brookhaven and currently serves on the State of Georgia's Personnel Board, the GALEO Impact Fund's board and the Latin American Association's Advocacy Committee. In addition, she frequently lectures at community events and contributes to newspapers and television shows to counsel the Hispanic community about its legal rights and duties.


In 2020, Fagundo received multiple accolades for her legal acumen and community service, including being named the Latina Attorney of the Year by the Latin American Chamber of Commerce and one of Georgia's 50 Most Influential Latinos by the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. In 2021, she has been included in The Best Lawyers in America®, was again selected to the Georgia Super Lawyers list and was also named to the Top 50: Women Georgia Super Lawyers list. Fagundo has been recognized in Latino Leaders magazine's Top Latino Lawyers, Georgia Trend's Legal Elite and the Atlanta Business Chronicle's Women Who Mean Business. In addition, Fagundo was selected for the Leadership Georgia Class of 2020 and the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2013.

Fagundo received her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez.
