The Alkaline Water Co. Sued for Fraud by Minneapolis Marketing Group Castello Sales

Castello, a leader in providing brand management, marketing and brand development, recently filed a lawsuit against The Alkaline Water Co. [WTER]. According to the complaint, Castello alleges that Alkaline's frudulent misrepresentation as to its ability to perform under the agreements, its ability to produce products of sufficient quality to meet retailer standards, and its ability to produce products of sufficient quantities for the orders solicited induced Castello to enter into agreements and take actions that materially harmed it causing significant damages to Castello.

"I wish we hadn't been forced to take this step. Castello delivered several remarkable co-branded campaigns in key markets in 2020 for The Alkaline Water Co. and we have not been paid. Unfortunately, we have learned of other agencies that experienced similar treatment. We produced over 115 billboards and placed their new CBD products in numerous retail stores. The Alkaline Water Co. requested this and we delivered it," stated David White (News - Alert), President of Castello. "Despite numerous reassurances that payment would occur, it never happened."
