Wavecrest Growth Partners Expands Leadership Team

Wavecrest Growth Partners (Wavecrest) today announced the expansion of the firm's leadership team with the addition of Colin Doherty as Growth Partner. In his role, Doherty will lead the Wavecrest Operating Platform, working with portfolio company management teams on go-to-market acceleration, operational efficiencies, and leadership augmentation, among other areas, to drive sustainable, capital-efficient growth.

"Wavecrest is one of the most operationally-focused firms investing in lower middle-market B2B technology companies today," said Doherty. "The Wavecrest Operating Platform that they have built provides founders and CEOs with an unparalleled set of resources, enabling $5-25M revenue businesses to reach $50-100M in scale. I respect the team's collaborative and growth-focused approach and am looking forward to rolling my sleeves up and working closely with the portfolio company CEOs on a range of growth initiatives."

Prior to joining the firm, Doherty was a five-time CEO of B2B SaaS (News - Alert), Security and Infrastructure companies that grew significantly during his tenure, leading to their respective acquisitions. He was ranked #30 in USA Today's annual Best CEOs list for 2019.

"I have had the good fortune of working closely with Colin as CEO at two of my prior portfolio companies. His deep operational expertise, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability o connect with founders makes him a great fit and strong addition to our platform," said Deepak Sindwani, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Wavecrest Growth Partners. "We are thrilled to welcome Colin as a senior member of the Wavecrest team."
