Lauren M. Smyers Joins Validor Capital as Principal, Business Development


Validor Capital, an independent operationally-focused investment firm, today announced the hiring of Lauren M. Smyers as Principal, Business Development. Ms. Smyers brings to Validor 8 years of private equity experience. In her role, Ms. Smyers will lead deal origination, focused on sourcing family-owned manufacturing and industrial service businesses in the lower middle market.

Prior to joining Validor Capital, Lauren led business development at Weatherford Capital. Previously, Lauren was responsible for marketing and investor relations at The Carlyle Group and Siguler Guff. Lauren earned her B.S. degree, cum laude, in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University (News - Alert).
