Fuze Strengthens Microsoft Teams Integration with Seamless Calling Experience

By combining Fuze's real-time communications with Teams' messaging and content collaboration, this integration enables users around the globe with seamless, enterprise-grade communications and collaboration.

Enhancements to the Fuze and Teams integration expands on existing meeting capabilities to combine the quality and reach of Fuze's global calling network with the power and flexibility of Fuze Meetings, enabling Teams' users to move from Teams messaging to a Fuze call or meeting, whether on desktop, web, or mobile. These strengthened capabilities provide greater reliability and increased network support, improving the end-user experience.

Key benefits of the enhanced Fuze and Teams integration include:

  • Chat escalation: Whether in a one-to-one conversation or a group thread, users can now escalate to a voice or video call by launching Fuze calling or meeting directly from a 'Team.'
  • One-click to start a Fuze call: Users can now access one-click Fuze calling from any chat or group conversation thread through the Teams messaging extension.
  • Expanded global calling capabilities: With bot commands and the messaging extension, Teams' users can dial any phone number directly from a chat thread to reduce friction when making calls.
