COVID-19 ShiftKey Critical Response Team

As the wave of layoffs from the closure of bars, lounges, taverns, nightclubs, and health clubs arrive, the level of uncertainty is increasing as many wonder which businesses they should be looking at to supplement their income, and which ones are actually going to be hiring.

For those interested, Dallas-based ShiftKey has an answer. ShiftKey, which operates a multi-faceted online platform that connects Healthcare Facilities with Healthcare Professionals to combat the national nurse shortage, has seen a drastic increase in demand from its partner facilities across the United States since COVID-19 started to spread and has since implemented a COVID-19 Critical Response Team to intensify recruiting efforts to assist these facilities. Even with Governor Greg Abbott waiving several regulations o help meet the growing need, many of these facilities were already short staffed and struggling to find enough staff to ensure their patients and residents received proper patient care, while others are now implementing backup plans in anticipation for what may still be ahead of us.

"Our Healthcare Community is at the forefront of this pandemic, and as this community pulls together to face these challenges, we are doing everything we can to get our facilities as much help as they need," says Tom Ellis, President and Founder of ShiftKey. "We know there are a lot of people whose jobs were affected by this virus, and amid any of those uncertainties, there is certainly room for additional help here."
