Introducing Spokestack-a First-of-its-Kind Service Enabling Custom Voice Assistants on Mobile AppsSpokestack today unveiled its first-of-its kind developer platform for creating custom mobile voice assistants at Project Voice, the #1 event for voice tech and artificial intelligence in America. The Spokestack platform provides mobile developers a full suite of services to integrate custom voice assistants into their mobile user experience. Spokestack is filling a void in the voice developer tool market by making it easy for developers to create voice navigation, search and brand enhancing conversational experiences for their mobile users. There are over a billion mobile devices with voice capabilities powered by Apple's (News - Alert) Siri and Google's Assistant, yet less than a handful of mobile apps have a way to have proprietary, branded conversations directly with their users. Spokestack hopes to join companies like Twilio (News - Alert), Optimizely and others who help mobile developers create smarter applications with less work through their easy to use developer tools. Video: Why you need voice for your mobile app "More people than ever are using their phones as voice assistants, yet the majority of mobile apps do not have a voice interface to answer their requests," said Mike Tatum, CEO of Spokestack. "Spokestack's mission is to provide everyone from Fortune 500 brandsto individual developers with the tools to have conversations directly with their customers through their mobile applications." "We couldn't be more thrilled to have Spokestack launch with a workshop at Project Voice this year,'' said Bradley Metrock, executive producer of Project Voice. "The timing is right for the company's technology and approach, bringing voice to mobile apps, and we're looking forward to Spokestack being part of Project Voice for many years to come."
