Avi served as 3D Systems' (NYSE:DDD) President and Chief Executive Officer for 12 years, ending October 2015. Under Reichental's leadership, 3D Systems emerged as a formidable global 3D printin leader. During his tenure, the company was ranked as the 13th most Innovative Global Growth Company by Forbes in 2014, and named the 5th Fastest Growing U.S. Company and 2nd Fastest Growing Tech Company by Fortune in 2013. Reichental also served on the board of Harman (NYSE:HAR) until its acquisition by Samsung (News - Alert).

Izhar Medalsy is an experienced operations, technology and product development executive with extensive optical and polymer science expertise. Medalsy joined Nexa3D in 2017 as its Chief Product Officer. Over the past two years, under his capable leadership, the company developed its flagship product, the NXE400, which it is now commercializing. Medalsy formerly served as director of business development and product management at Wyatt Technology, a world leader in light scattering technology. Medalsy has held marketing and scientific roles at Bruker, and was responsible for the development and marketing of Bruker's latest Bio Atomic Force Microscope.

"We are grateful to our board for their continued confidence in us and look forward to delivering a significant upgrade to the tens of thousands of older legacy stereolithography users," said Reichental and Medalsy in a joint statement. "3D printing is an unstoppable force of change and it's our privilege to work together with the entire awesome Nexa3D team to bring ultrafast 3D printing to market as the ultimate productivity tool for designers and manufacturers."

Comparatively speaking, the NXE400 makes the leap in printing speeds in the same way internet access moved from dialup to broadband, printing up to 16 liters of part volume at speeds of up to 1Z centimeter per minute. It features full factory automation compatibility as well as optional washing and curing units that together reduce the time to produce functional prototypes and production parts from hours to just minutes. The fastest 3D printer on the market, Nexa3D's NXE400 prints at up to six times the speed and 2.5 times the build volume of all other comparable products. Nexa3D printers are powered by the company's proprietary Lubricant Sublayer Photo-curing (LSPc) technology and patented structured light matrix that in combination are capable of reaching speeds of 1Z centimeter per minute.
