EQUINOX TO HOST 21st ANNUAL FRAUD MANAGEMENT EDUCATION EVENT: PROTECTOR USER GROUP HELD IN NASHVILLE

Equinox Information Systems, the leading fraud management solutions (FMS) supplier in the telecom industry, is thrilled to announce details for their annual Protector User Group Meeting. Beginning September 30 and ending mid-day October 2, 2019, Equinox will host fraud analysts, loss/fraud prevention experts, NOC staff, engineers, switch personnel, technical support, and billing specialists from all sectors of telecom at Nashville’s Music City Center for the 21st gathering of this educational, networking conference.

Equinox CEO Byron Middendorf officially kicks off the event with opening remarks and introductions Monday afternoon. Central to Equinox’s mission to help telecom carriers protect and optimize their revenue, the agenda is packed with carrier-led case studies, expert training that illustrates how to reduce fraud loss, best practice presentations for leveraging new system features for greatest ROI, and special educational sessions led by Protector’s development team. As with all Equinox user groups, the event includes dedicated time for crowdsourcing product features (the Wish List), ample networking, and a customer appreciation dinner. CFCA members who participate in the event can earn educational credits to qualify for CFCA’s Certified Communications Security Professional (CCSP) designation.

Equinox has further increased the value of the educational conference this year by adding an ‘Protector 101’ webinar beforehand on August 26 to help first-time attendees and newer members of the Protector community get the most benefit from the application and the Nashville meeting. This introductory session includes a high-level overview of Protector's capabilities and explains basic Protector concepts, terms, and interface features via a guided system walk through.

“The Protector User Group is one of the most important customer service functions of the year,” explained Joe Herron, Vice President of Equinox Support. “Of course, our team is always here to help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, but our primary focus is on customers’ success. That’s why Equinox works hard to provide the training, tools, and support services our customers need to maximize their revenue and business assurance efforts. The user group is a great forum for working together to tackle the latest fraud challenges with time- and money-saving loss prevention strategies.” Registration for the Protector User Group is now open through September 16.
