Norwest Venture Partners Invests in Gateway Learning Group to Advance ABA Services for Families Affected by Autism

Norwest Venture Partners announced today that it has made a growth equity investment in Gateway (News - Alert) Learning Group (Gateway), a leading provider of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Gateway is based in San Francisco and provides services in 17 counties throughout California.

Trends in Healthcare and Autism Spectrum (News - Alert) Disorder

In 2018, the CDC estimated a one in 59 prevalence of autism spectrum disorder among U.S. children, nearly double the rate from its 2009 report. In response to the growing need for ABA services of the highest clinical quality, Gateway has leveraged the latest advancements in healthcare and technology to support families managing ASD. ABA is an evidence-based therapy designed to encourage positive behaviors and minimize behaviors that interfere with learning.

With this new investment, the company will continue to expand the reach of its high quality services.
