Lawrence General Hospital Goes LIVE with MEDITECH ExpanseBuilding on MEDITECH's industry-leading market share in Massachusetts, Lawrence General Hospital recently went LIVE with Expanse, the company's fully integrated web-based Enterprise Health Record (EHR). The regional hospital chose the interoperable Expanse platform following a competitive selection process. The partnership with Lawrence General marks MEDITECH's continued growth in its home state of Massachusetts. The company has a 60% acute care market share in the state and Lawrence General represents many significant milestones for a Massachusetts MEDITECH organization, including the first to go LIVE with Expanse Point of Care, Ambulatory, ED, Acute, and Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) integration. "Partnering with Lawrence General is particularly meaningful, as we are helping our neighbor to achieve their goal of having a fully-integrated EHR across all care settings," said Helen Waters, executive vice president at MEDITECH. MEDITECH physicians and executives worked closely with Lawrence General throughout the process and were on-site during the go-LIVE to ensure a successful implementation. Lawrence General is a private, non-profit community hospital providing the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire regions with patient-centered, compassionate, and quality health care for the whole family.
