Indico CEO to Speak at 2019 DoD & Federal Knowledge Management Symposium

BOSTON, May 09, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Indico CEO Tom Wilde will be a featured presenter at the 2019 DoD and Federal Knowledge Management Symposium in Baltimore, Maryland. Wilde will discuss how a new generation of artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities are being used to automate many of the document-based workflows and business processes that have thus far been out of reach of these technologies.

The event, hosted by the Defense Information Systems Agency, takes place May 14-16 at the Baltimore Convention Center.  This year’s conference will focus on digital transformation and a range of innovations...from cloud platforms and robotic process automation to predictive algorithms, natural language processing, chatbots, and cognitive systems...and how they are revolutionizing how employees share, discover, nd access enterprise knowledge. DOD and federal government decision-makers will join knowledge management (KM) subject matter experts and thought leaders from around the world who will provide briefings and presentations based on their experiences assessing, adopting, and implementing new technology to improve KM practices.

Session Details:
Title:Process Automation with Artificial Intelligence
Date/Time: Thurs., May 16th, 2019, 8:00 – 9:00 am

Description: The last decade has witnessed a transformational approach to automating critical processes within the enterprise. Business Process Management (BPM) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) have enabled tedious, repetitive tasks to be automated with software routines and "robots." But a fundamental limitation of these approaches is their inability to make "decisions" or understand unstructured content such as text, images, documents and emails. This session will explore how AI technologies such as machine learning are driving the next wave of automation.

About Indico
Indico is the leading provider of Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) solutions. Our mission is to help organizations turn process into profit by enabling them to automate manual, labor-intensive, document-based workflows. Our breakthrough in solving these challenges is an approach known as transfer learning, which allows users to train machine learning models with orders of magnitude less data than required by traditional rule-based techniques. With Indico, enterprises are now able to deploy AI to unstructured content challenges more effectively while eliminating many of the common barriers to adoption.
