HumanEyes Technologies Enables DLNA Streaming and Direct File Download to Oculus Go and Product Updates

Consumers are encouraged to ‘Explore More’ with Vuze XR Cameras and enjoy 3D VR180 and 2D 360° content, directly to Oculus Go and other DLNA-compliant devices, as well as experience 3D audio and refined workflows

AUSTIN, Texas, March 19, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- HumanEyes Technologies, a global provider of virtual reality cameras and solutions, today announced that its breakthrough Vuze XR Dual-Mode Camera, which allows users to create still images and video in both 360-degree and stereoscopic 3D180, achieved new levels of compatibility by seamlessly streaming and downloading immersive experiences directly to Oculus Go wireless VR headsets using DLNA technology. The Vuze XR camera has a built-in DLNA server that provides a smooth, seamless 4K experience with Oculus Go headsets and other DLNA-compliant systems.

“When we first demonstrated our DLNA integration with the Oculus Go at CES, channel partners and industry insiders applauded the consumer-centric approach; keeping it easy for Vuze XR Camera users to enjoy immersive pictures and video, in the worlds best selling VR headsets,” said Jim Malcolm, CMO of HumanEyes. “Plus, unlocking the 3D audio feature and other Vuze Studio enhancements further demonstrates our commitment to the VR industry as a whole."

The Vuze XR camera allows consumers, content creators, prosumers and VR industry professionals to capture and share engaging content and memorable moments in stereoscopic VR180 and 2D 360° — all in a lightweight and easy to handle form factor. The robust camera system records video in stunning 5.7K resolution at 30fps in both 360 and VR180 formats, as well as 4K at 60fps and 30fps – toggling easily between hoto or video. Its built-in accelerometer and gyroscope for motion tracking, video stabilization, in-camera stitching, 18 megapixel still images and four MEMS 48KHz microphones create immersive sight and sound to your experiences.

All Vuze XR Camera owners can quickly activate the DLNA feature by performing a simple firmware update to their camera. The update, available today at https://vuze.camera/vr-software/, also enhances compatibility with updated Android and iOS applications. The Vuze VR Studio software update activates the 3D Audio feature, 3D alignment tools and batch processing for PC and Apple computer users.

The Vuze XR MSRP is $439 and is available at leading retailers including Amazon, B&H, Adorama, and online at https://vuze.camera/. For more information about Vuze, please visit the website.
