Route 66 Ventures Promotes Pat Wilson to Partner


Route 66 Ventures, a global early-stage venture capital firm, today announced that Pat Wilson has been promoted to Partner.

"Pat's domain expertise, proven track record as an investor and entrepreneur, and strong leadership skills have been instrumental to Route 66's evolution into a leading venture capital firm," said Ben Britt, General Partner and head of Route 66's venture capital platform. "This promotion to Partner is in recognition of Pat's many accomplishments and key role in building Route 66's venture capital practice."

Pat is a repeat entrepreneur with more than a decade of direct investment experience in early and growth-stage compnies. His activities over the past 15 years as an entrepreneur and investor have spanned multiple asset classes and investment strategies and have crafted his unique voice and adeptness for early-stage investing, seeding new ideas and supporting entrepreneurs.



At Route 66, Pat brings together his entrepreneurial, direct investment and global venture expertise to source, evaluate and lead new venture investments as well as mentor and support Route 66's existing portfolio. Mr. Wilson has worked with a number of Route 66 portfolio companies since he joined the firm and currently holds Board positions at Motionsoft, Digital Insurance Group, AMP Merchant Technologies and Vemo Education. Pat graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he concentrated in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
