Cox Enterprises Names Sonya Wendell Manfredi Vice President of Government Affairs


ATLANTA, March 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Enterprises announced today that Sonya Wendell Manfredi has joined the company as Vice President of Government Affairs. In this role, she will serve as a representative to Capitol Hill for Cox and its companies, including Cox Communications, Cox Automotive and Cox Media Group.

For nearly a decade, Wendell Manfredi/span> has advanced complex public policy initiatives for The Internet & Television Association as its vice president of Government Relations. While in this role, she was responsible for lobbying and education activities for the cable broadband and television industry, gaining extensive telecommunications and technology expertise.



Previously, Wendell Manfredi advised key Democratic Representatives and Senators, including Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) and Representative Bart Stupak (D-MI), on pending legislation and policy matters.

She graduated cum laude from Drake University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science.
