Financial Crimes Compliance Expert Michelle Goodsir Joins K2 Intelligence


K2 Intelligence, an industry-leading investigative, compliance and cyber defense services firm, today announced that Michelle Goodsir has joined the firm's New York office as a Managing Director in the firm's global Regulatory Compliance practice. Ms. Goodsir brings decades of experience working with financial institutions and the U.S. Government on fraud risk management and investigations, anti-bribery and corruption, corporate security, sanctions, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) to the firm. She will report to Thomas Bock, Executive Managing Director and leader of the firm's Regulatory Compliance practice.

Ms. Goodsir most recently served as Managing Director and Global Head of Anti-Bribery and Corruption and Fraud for a European bank, where she was responsible for enterprise-wide anti-bribery and corruption (ABC), fraud risk management and investigations, and Whistleblowing programs. She was also responsible for setting global ABC and Fraud policy and control standards and she interacted with U.S. and European regulators. Prior to that, she was Head of Financial Crime Compliance for CIT Group, where she served as the firm's board-approved BSA/AML Officer and managed the institution's AML/Sanctions exams from U.S. regulators. She has also held numerous leadership positions in financial crime-related programs at Citi, including as Managing Director and Head of AML Cross Sector Operations. At the start of her career, she spent seven years as an analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where she worked on global money laundering issues.
