SEWORKS Expands Executive Team in Response to Growing Cybersecurity Protection Market Needs


SEWORKS, an innovator of offensive and defensive application security solutions, today announces the appointment of Yaniv Karta as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Charles Kenney as Senior Vice President of Global Sales at SEWORKS.

As CTO, Karta will focus on honing the SEWORKS products and developing new app security technology. Karta has more than 20 years of experience as a strategic software engineering leader, spanning research and development areas that include simulation engines, artificial intelligence, communication protocols for large IT systems, and operating system internals. Karta has held leadership senior engineering and research roles at Zimperium, Samsung (News - Alert), Varonis, and Voltaire, along with other programmer andIT architect roles at various technology companies. Karta holds four granted and several provisional patents and has developed a machine learning engine optimized for mobile devices to recognize advanced mobile attacks.



Kenney will lead SEWORKS' global sales organization to focus on the business expansion and brings more than 25 years of revenue-generating experience in both direct and indirect B2B technology sales. Before joining SEWORKS, Kenney was VP of Sales at CyberSaint Security. Previously, he has held sales management and channel sales roles at companies that were acquired by IBM Security, Cisco Systems, Nortel (News - Alert) Networks, Symantec, Verizon, and others.
