Seasoned Technology Executive Tim Wintrip Joins Krystallize Technologies

FULSHEAR, Texas, Jan. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Seasoned technology executive Tim Wintrip has joined Fulshear, Texas-based Krystallize Technologies as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Wintrip looks to drive sales, revenue and strategic growth of Krystallize and its flagship cloud performance management product, CloudQoS®.

Wintrip is an accomplished senior technology veteran with two decades of experience driving new services, business models and revenue streams at leading technology companies. He joined from Virtustream where he held various vice president positions managing global accounts, cloud service providers and software. Wintrip also previously held senior sales leadership, consulting and engineering roles at DXC Technology, Visa Inc., VCE and EMC Consulting.

"I'm excited to join Krystallize and help customers gain more efficiency, performance and value from their cloud investments." Wintrip said. "With the mass adoption of cloud, clients need a better way to gain transparency into their workload performance to gauge whether they are getting the value they are paying for. Most clients are shocked at the variability of worklod performance in the cloud and the impacts it has to their cloud cost base."

Cloud service variability is a key issue for users running public, private and hybrid cloud configurations. In Krystallize's most recent workload testing on Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure, the widest service variability gap was a staggering 121.2 percent.

"This means there was a 121.2 percent variation in service capability between our slowest and fastest machines," Wintrip said. "This has a direct correlation to cost. I can see why, according to IDC, 80% of enterprises migrated workloads back from public to private cloud in 2017."

Wintrip strives to create greater market awareness of CloudQoS® and its necessity in solving variability problems.

"We are privileged to have Tim onboard leading the retooling of our sales and revenue initiatives and in the positioning of CloudQoS® as the gold standard in CSP measurement, ranking and data intelligence," said Krystallize Technologies CEO Clinton France.
