Tyler Technologies Expands Presence in Northern Tier Pennsylvania Counties with New World Public Safety Solutions

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has signed an agreement with the Northern Tier consortium in Pennsylvania for a full suite of Tyler's New World public safety solutions, including Enterprise Records Management System (RMS); Field Reporting; Police and Fire Mobile; and Tyler's SoftCode civil process solution. This agreement adds to Tyler's existing relationship with the Northern Tier counties in Pennsylvania for Tyler's New World public safety computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system.

"We're pleased to continue working with Tyler to implement a robust records management system and mobile reporting offering for the Northern Tier," said Mike McAllister, director of emergency services, Elk County Office of Emergency Services, which is the acting fiduciary for all software involving the consortium. "We are impressed with the mapping features and solutions offered to comply with our very complex response plans that are used in the Northern Tier in their CAD solutions. We were equally impressed with the integration with all their public safety solutions, which will seamlessly improve workflows and improve officer and public safety. The data sharing among so many agencies will be greatly improved, and we expect many more agencies to oin the consortium because of these improvements."

Tyler has a strong footprint in Pennsylvania, serving 49 percent of all public safety answering points (PSAPs) in the commonwealth with its public safety solutions. The Northern Tier selected Tyler as part of Phase II of this project. The addition of these solutions will give the Northern Tier consortium full integration with all their public safety software in a ten-county region.

"Expanding to a regional solution for Law Enforcement Records Management Services (LERMS) was a logical next step for the Northern Tier consortium," said Terri Nelson, PMP, project supervisor for the MCM Consulting Group, Inc. "Integrating the records management system with New World CAD will greatly enhance data sharing across the 10-county region and will enable agencies across the area to create efficient workflows for improved effectiveness."

"Our previous experience throughout the commonwealth will serve us well as we expand our relationship with the Northern Tier consortium," said Greg Sebastian, president of Tyler's Public Safety Division. "It's encouraging that the consortium sees the value in having a full public safety suite of solutions in place, as it makes processes more seamless and increases overall efficiency. We look forward to bringing these agencies even more benefits through a comprehensive, web-based records management system, flexible mobile tools, and an easy-to-use civil process offering."

The Northern Tier consortium consists of the following northwestern Pennsylvania counties: Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield (News - Alert), Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, Jefferson, McKean and Warren Counties. These counties serve a population of more than 650,000.
