Homeland Security & Defense Business Council Announces Three New Appointments to Board of DirectorsThe Homeland Security and Defense Business Council (HSDBC) today announced the election of three new members to its Board of Directors. Brandon LaBonte, President and Chief Executive Officer of ArdentMC; Martin Mackes, Chief Delivery Officer at E3 Federal Solutions; and Trey Theimer, Vice President and Account General Manager, Homeland Security at Perspecta, will serve three-year terms. "We are excited and honored to welcome Brandon, Marty, and Trey to the Council's Board of Directors," said Marc Pearl, president and CEO of HSDBC. "These innovative and vibrant leaders have exemplified a passionate and steadfast dedication to the homeland security mission throughout their careers. Working together with our current Directors, their expertise will strengthen the vital work of the Council in building better engagement models between industry and government to achieve mission success." LaBonte, Mackes, and Theimer will help guide the overarching vision and direction of the Council and its programs and initiatives. They join a group of Directors who represent the Council's diverse membership of the small, mid-tier, and large companies that provide the technology, product, and service solutions to the Homeland Security Enterprise. About Martin Mackes Martin ("Marty") Mackes is the Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) of E3 Federal Solutions, a veteran-owned mid-tier large business with annual revenues exceeding $115M. He brings over 25 years of federal contracting experience, half of which have been focused within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As the CDO, Marty oversees contract delivery for each of E3's 5 divisions - Defense, Civilian, Intelligence, Border Security & Law Enforcement, and Homeland Operations. Marty is responsible providing customers with delivery excellence and managing all aspects of E3's delivery organization, including service delivery, client satisfaction, program and project management resourcing, and program and project management standardization. Additionally, Marty is involved with the overall strategy and growth of the company. Prior to joining E3, Marty was the Chief Operations Officer for Dependable Global Solutions, VP for Homeland markets at Unisys (News - Alert), and Senior Associate with Booz Allen where he supported several federal clients, including DHS, U.S. Army, Social Security Administration, Department of Energy, Internal Revenue Service, National Institutes of Technology, and other civilian and defense customers. He has been recognized throughout his career as a leader in strategy, business growth, management, and delivery to mission-critical programs.
