Sieg: Most bullish is the fact that when you speak to clients who are owners of small and midsized business, they are very consistently telling you that they see strong demand. They feel like they're investing in their own business and experiencing growth like they haven't seen in a long time. Keller: And that's in the U.S.? Sieg: That's in the U.S. They certainly feel that we're a more pro-business environmet that they've experienced in a long, long time, regulations being pulled back. We think that the impact of the tax cut is really not fully in the U.S. economy right now, and when you actually juxtapose that with the fact that more people are expressing some concern about markets, as a contrarian that's actually a very bullish sign right now. Sieg: Even on a topic like the trade war, I think our advice would be don't overreact short term; let's see the direction of policy over the long term. This is clearly negotiating strategies playing out on all sides of the topic.
