Skilljar Teams Up with Zoom to Offer Unified Learning Experience for Live Customer Training

Skilljar, the leading Customer Training Platform for enterprises, today announced it has teamed up with Zoom Video Communications, Inc. to offer enterprises a unified and efficient way to conduct live customer training events. Skilljar's Zoom integration allows its customers to facilitate and track virtual instructor-led training events within Skilljar, while simultaneously enabling students to register for and access live events from within the Skilljar platform.

"For virtual instructor-led training, cumbersome learning experiences contribute to a lack of student retention and provide a broken experience," said Sandi Lin, CEO and Co-founder, Skilljar. "With Skilljar's new Zoom integration, both students and training teams will have a unified, seamless experience with virtual instructor-led training events hosted on Zoom."

With Skilljar's Zoom integration:

  • Students can register for and access live events directly within Skilljar and navigate straight to live training from their email confirmations and calendar invites
  • Admins can automatically track registrations and attendance with Skilljar analytics in conjunction with the rest of their training

Setting up a live training event through Zoom Meetings or Zoom Video Webinar is a simple, one-time process directly in Skilljar. Once complete, all the relevant data like attendance and cancellations sync reliably between Zoom and Skilljar behind the scenes. As a result, training teams will be able to view a complete picture of their entire program, while saving time and focusing on delivering training experiences that drive positive results.

"We are continually looking for new ways to provide value to our customers, and our integration with Skilljar is one way we are accomplishing this," said Thiya Ramalingam, Head of Platforms for Zoom. "Working with Skilljar, we are providing our rising number of shared customers with new and efficient ways to provide and participate in crucial live training events."

"Given the pace of change and improvements to our application-building SaaS (News - Alert) platform, we rely heavily on Zoom for communication and collaboration among our clients and teams at Quick Base," said Liz McCann, Director of Customer Success Offerings at Quick Base. "The Zoom-Skilljar integration now allows us to leverage Zoom further for our live virtual training sessions, ultimately resulting in a more seamless experience for our customers."

As companies recognize the impact of customer training and enablement on their business goals, they're utilizing dozens of software solutions to engage with their customers and partners. Skilljar's Zoom integration adds to their existing portfolio of powerful integrations such as Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot (News - Alert), Marketo, and Gainsight, among others.
