Cybersecurity Startup Aporeto Wins Security Current's Security Shark Tank® NYC

TENAFLY, N.J., Oct. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Security Current today announced that cloud application security provider Aporeto won Security Current's Security Shark Tank® NYC.

Security Shark Tank® brings security providers and face-to-face with CISO buyers. Participating vendors, referred by security executives to present, are given 15 minutes each to pitch their solution in a rapid-fire question and answer session with the executives. Interested in sourcing innovative technologies, the executives score each vendor based on innovation and vision, ease of use and implementation, value to the industry and the presenter's ability to clear and effectively articulate their solution and its business value.

"The Security Shark Tank is the ideal way to source new technologies," said host Tomás Maldonado, CISO, International Flavors and Fragrances. "The vendors are vetted by our peers prior to pitching so their products are relevant. The unique format allows us to hear the real-world concerns of our peers and the provider's responses. The Security Shark Tank is bar none one of the most effective and enjoyable events that I've attended."

Tomás Maldonado, CISO of International Flavors & Fragrances, hosted and moderated the event.

The panel included:
Anthony Chryseliou, Senior Manager, Global IS InfoSec, Sony
