Safe-T Announces FIPS 140-2 Compliance and Additional Feature Integrations with Release of SDE Version 7.3


HERZLIYA, Israel, Sept. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Safe-T® (Nasdaq: SFET) (TASE:SFET), a leading provider of software-defined access solutions for the hybrid cloud, today announced the release of Safe-T's Secure Data Exchange (SDE) version 7.3. The release includes feature integrations such as on-premise malware analysis, anti-malware solutions, and Microsoft OneDrive cloud service compatibility, and is certified  FIPS 140-2 compliant by Acumen Security. This certification of compliance allows federal agencies to deploy the product in order to secure their data exchanges.

The Acumen Security review confirmed that Safe-T's Secure Data Exchange version 7.3 leverages cryptographic modules which are compliant with FIPS 140-2 directives. The cryptographic module provides all the cryptographic functionality for services such as secure session establishment, file at rest encryption, hashing, and authentication. Safe-T's SDE solution protects the exchange of both inbound and outbound data and enables enterprise security teams the ability to broker, control, and secure data exchanges of any kind between people, organizations, apps, and even the cloud.
