Nonprofit Organization Software Leaders Combine to Form Neon One

NeonCRM and Rallybound recently joined forces to establish Neon One, a new business enterprise dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations achieve their philanthropic goals by providing a user-friendly, integrated and state-of-the-art technology platform. This new entity will continue to build a unique ecosystem comprised of best-in-class products and services, assembled to cultivate the vital resources nonprofits and their stakeholders rely on to drive their efforts. Combined, NeonCRM and Rallybound have helped nonprofits raise nearly $9 billion to date.

Over the past 13 years, Jeff Gordy has grown NeonCRM from one of the first web-based CRM and software platforms for nonprofits to the industry's leading software platform. NeonCRM provides a full suite of software tools that empower nonprofits to raise more money, better manage their members, increase event attendance and save staff time. NeonCRM's growing list of partnerships, including over 20 integrated technology providers and 70 knowledgeable consultants, is the foundation of an integrated ecosystem designed to address any nonprofit need.

"Our growing client base of over 3,000 unique nonprofits continues to reinforce for us the mission critical nature of easy-to-use, affordable, modern nonprofit software," said Gordy. "Bringing together the differentiated offerings and talent of NeonCRM and Rallybound is a key step in helping to fulfill our vision of helping more great people do amazing things." Gordy will assume the role of president of the combined entity; veteran team member Nina Deremer will assume leadership of NeonCRM.

Rallybound will continue to create and provide digital fundraising tools, peer-to-peer solutions and advanced integrations with other best-in-breed technologies for mny of the largest nonprofits in North America, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Michael J. Fox Foundation and the Sierra Club.

"Nonprofits benefit the most when their fundraising solutions work together and provide a multiplying effect on donations - this is what the combination of NeonCRM and Rallybound will achieve," said Rallybound co-founder Shmuli Pinson. Both Pinson and co-founder Joe Magee will continue to lead Rallybound, while also helping guide strategy for Neon One. As part of Neon One, Rallybound will be able to build new features faster, as it continues to expand and enhance its integrations and systems architecture.

As part of the union, Neon One partnered with FTV Capital, a leading growth equity firm, to accelerate the transformative growth of the company. FTV Capital has a 20-year track record of helping innovative, high-growth companies seamlessly scale as they continue to successfully meet the needs of their valued clients. In addition, FTV team members are actively involved on nonprofit boards.

Neon One will broaden its volunteering initiatives as well as grow its monetary and in-kind donations to nonprofits that inspire the executives and staff. The company will also expand its support of impact partnerships for initiatives like the Fundraising Effectiveness Project, which provides the most accurate comparative and statistical data for nonprofits to measure how well they are doing.

Neon One will add executive talent, bringing in Michael Farb as CEO. Farb brings deep nonprofit passion and experience, currently serving on the board of Build.org. He also recently oversaw growth efforts for Stack Sports, leading the first-of-its-kind, end-to-end technology platform for the industry. Joining as chairman is Robert Wechsler, a highly successful serial entrepreneur and world-renowned payments expert who heads the Wechsler Family Foundation for charitable giving.

"The vision driving these two companies together will create opportunities for growth throughout the industry. Our goal is to support and enhance the missions of thousands of nonprofit organizations and affect billions of lives," added Farb.
