It's Round 3 of Tech Gives Back - Startups Don't Quit!ATLANTA, Sept. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- ATL Tech Gives Back, a quarterly day-long event intended to harness Atlanta's passionate technology community for greater good, will be held on Thursday, September 20. Hosted by social service platform Community Bucket and startup technology publication Hypepotamus, and powered by Cox Enterprises, the event will allow over 100 volunteers to give back through four different service projects with Atlanta-born nonprofits. Since its inception in 2017, ATL Tech Gives Back has engaged 500+ attendees from technology companies in volunteer projects with multiple community non-profits in sectors from environmental sustainability to healthcare. After getting their hands dirty, volunteers gather nearby for a social event to celebrate the fruits of their labor, network, build connections and have fun. "ATL Tech Gives Back is one way we partner with local startups and technology companies to improve the community and the lives of those who, like us, call Atlanta home." On September 20, participants will have the option to work with one of four nonprofits: Global Growers, Grant Park Conservancy, MedShare or the Wylde Center. "As we gear up for our third project this year for Tech Gives Back, we're invigorated more than ever," said Jacey Lucus, Community Bucket's Board President. Tickets for ATL Tech Gives Back are $12 and include admission and supplies for volunteer project, snacks and drinks at the social event, and an additional donation to the partner non-profits.
