WPP Expands Co-Location Strategy with Enlarged Toronto Campus

WPP (NYSE:WPP), the world's leading communications services company, will consolidate its portfolio of operating companies in Toronto in a campus in the Waterfront Innovation Centre.

WPP is the anchor tenant in the building and will occupy approximately 260,000 square feet. The new facility will supplant an existing smaller campus in Toronto. When finished, the Waterfront Innovation Centre will house approximately 2,000 WPP people, who are expected to move starting in late 2021.

"The Toronto co-location allows proximity for all the Group's people in a building that will be state of the art in terms of technology infrastructure," said Mark Read, Chief Operating Officer of WPP. "It will make it easier for our people to work together and give clients what they want: agile, integrated solutions, world-class creativity and technology, and great work."

WPP's first co-location opened in Chicago in 2005. In addition to the Chicago and current Toronto location, the Group has North American capuses in New York City at 3 Columbus Circle, the Chocolate Factory on the West Side, 200 Fifth Avenue, 466 Lexington Avenue and 3 World Trade Center, as well as in Dearborn, MI. In Europe, the Group has campuses or lease commitments in Madrid, Amsterdam, London, Milan, Hamburg and Lisbon. In Latin America, WPP has co-locations in Mexico City, Bogotá and São Paulo, while in the Asia Pacific region it has Shanghai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney and Melbourne.
