FTII Chairman, Sylvia W. Sumarlin explained, "FTII's real contribution in the 2018 Asian Games is to provide expert assistance in voluntarily conducting system and training trials prior to and during the Asian Games 2018."

Indonesia's Minister of Communications & Informatics, Rudiantara, added: "we formed an Asian Games IT Team consisting of 27 experts from various IT associations and communities. These experts are assigned to support activities at the Information Technology & Telecommunication Department Ministry of Communications and Informatics also cooperated with BPPT & BPKP in providing assistance to the IT Review on IT implementation."

The role of these experts is crucial in ensuring internet network stability at the Asian Games venues, which are spread around Jakarta and Palembang. This system is centered on the cloud network in Singapore and is using PT. Telkom's network -- to be accessed internationally. PT Telkom also provides its fiber-optic connection system. "Data security is an important concern in addition to its massive distribution at the time of execution. To that end, the committee is working with Ssyangyong Information Communication Corp (SICC), TISSOT, Microsoft and NEC," said Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Vice Chairman of INASGOC.

SICC of South Korea is the official party appointed by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) to hold an information system Asian Games 2018, AGIS (Asian Games Information System). AGIS has been installed on Azure, a Microsoft could system, by partnering with its business partners, PT. Kreatif Dinamika Integrasi. The deployment of AGIS applications to game locations (competition venues) as well as the supporting venues (non-competition venues) is conducted in cooperation with PT. TELKOM Indonesia, PT. NEC Indonesia, and PT. Griya Mitra Persada.

TISSOT, a Swiss watch company has been supporting the implementation of scoring system in various international competitions, including the Asian Games. The accuracy and certainty of the result of a live match is the responsibility of TISSOT as a determinant or basis of winning for judges.

Microsoft Azure has the ability to handle data traffic along with systematic and reliable information dissemination. Microsoft Azure has advantages in all lines related to data management. Given this is the first time in the history the Asian Games that cloud based systems have been implemented, the success in organizing this system for the Asian Games in Indonesia is up to Microsoft.

NEC has the responsibility to integrate Astra Graphia Information Technology between hardware by HP and telecommunication networks provided by PT Telkom. This integration is conducted at competition venues and non-competition venues. Examples of non-competition venues are hotels or athlete's guesthouse and media center.

Sylvia concluded, "Although the IT community contributes its expertise, INASGOC has full responsibility for the operation of the AGIS information system operated by SICC. INASGOC implements the standards set by the OCA. "

To ensure that data is accurate, fast and easy to read and understand by the participating countries of the Asian Games, each INASGOC partner is required to apply industry standards in handling data and following the standards set by OCA including terms and codes that apply in the Asian Games. The gathering event was concluded with the reading of the Asian Games Support Pledge 2018 by the Chairman of APJII, Jamalul Izza and ATSI General Chairman, Merza Fachys.
