Atul Nishar Takes Over as the New President of TiE MumbaiMUMBAI, July 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Mumbai announces Atul Nishar as the President of TiE Mumbai from July 2018. Over the past few years, TiE Mumbai has played a significant role in promoting, mentoring, helping and funding startups in this region. It has developed focus on specific Special Interest Groups - FinTech, Lifestyle, Media & Entertainment, and Healthcare, along with its traditional Technology focus. TiE Mumbai represents over 2500 startups in the Greater Mumbai Region. It has successfully connected and mentored over 2000 entrepreneurs and startups over the last few years, and over 1000 startups have been successfully connected to investors. TiE Mumbai has also conducted over 120 events, workshops and knowledge sessions. Commenting on his election, Mr. Atul Nishar said, "I am very excited about this new role. This will also bring greater governance and discipline in the functioning of startups, thereby, enhancing the branding and image of the startups in India. The existing MSME listing platform, inspite of initial skepticism proved to be a great success with approximately 400 Companies getting listed. Atul Nishar, the Founder & Chairman of Hexaware Technologies, is a well-known IT leader in India who has contributed in promoting Indian software capabilities across the globe.
