DreamBox Learning® Math Now Connects to NWEA MAP® Growth™ and an Expanding List of K-8 Core Math Programs to Improve Student Learning

DreamBox Learning®, which pioneered Intelligent Adaptive Learning™ technology, today announced deeper connections between adaptive learning and the classroom.

First, teachers' ability to use NWEA MAP® Growth™ results to create differentiated assignments for individual students will be available to all customers by the end of June. Additionally, DreamBox has added enVisionmath2.0® and GO Math!® to its growing list of classroom curriculum programs that teachers can use to differentiate math experiences through its AssignFocus™ capability.

These additions reaffirm DreamBox's commitment to supporting teachers by helping them meet students where they are, while focusing on goals that align with resources provided by their district.

"When teachers in our school district use DreamBox and its real-time data to understand what students are ready for, we can better differentiate classroom instruction and improve student achievement," said Amy Dodson, M.Ed., Director of Instruction at Cisco (News - Alert) Independent School District in Texas. "By enabling students to learn at their own pace, we can help them to develop a love for learning that will benefit them throughout their lives."

In rolling out the general availability of NWEA connections through AssignFocus, DreamBox now empowers educators to use stuents' NWEA MAP Growth results to create individualized math lessons directly within DreamBox. Through AssignFocus, educators can also create differentiated assignments within DreamBox that align with state and regional standards or with classroom programs that include Eureka Math, EngageNY, Contexts for Learning Math, and soon, enVisionmath2.0 and GO Math!

"We're committed to providing teachers with a variety of ways to use DreamBox in conjunction with other resources they're familiar with and can access in their classroom," said Tim Hudson, Chief Learning Officer at DreamBox. "These new connections to classroom practice give teachers more tools for differentiation, improving achievement, and empowering all of their students regardless of whether they are learning math concepts above, at, or below their assigned grade level."

In addition to the personalized lessons continually recommended by DreamBox's Intelligent Adaptive Learning platform, AssignFocus gives teachers the ability to leverage real-time proficiency data about each learner and create additional assignments and track student progress. DreamBox thereby empowers educators to easily differentiate for each student for topics related to lessons from their classroom curriculum program, state standards, or benchmark assessment results.

DreamBox provides students with engaging, age-appropriate visual and symbolic representations of math concepts and skills in an environment that motivates them to persist, progress, and achieve success with just the right amount of scaffolding and support when they need it. Independent studies from both the Center for Education Policy Research (CEPR) at Harvard University and SRI (News - Alert) have found that DreamBox improves student achievement.
