"GabbyTokyo" Your Companion for Conversational Japanese Language Service Is Here

Tokyoite LLC. launched a new Internet site "GabbyTokyo" (Talkative Tokyo) in May 2018, with the aim of transmitting Japanese and Japanese culture from Tokyo to the world. Now from June 1st. 2018, after having successfully recruited tutors, we commence recruitment of students. GabbyTokyo will soon be at your service.

GabbyTokyo is a site that will utilize Skype (News - Alert)* to provide conversational Japanese learning service for foreigners in and outside Japan. We stand for dissemination of information not just on language learning but also about Japan in general and the Japanese culture. Now, we start recruiting foreign learners whose mother tongue is not Japanese.

Ahead of 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, we are faced with the need to communicate and disseminate information from Tokyo to the outside world. According to a survey, foreigners have keen interest in Japan, especially in three fields namely, (i) Japanese advanced technology, (ii) Japanese traditional and modern culture, (iii) Japanese cuisine or Washoku. However, it is easier said than done to communicate from Japan to the world. Recognition of strengths and characteristics of the Japanese economy overseas in the past was also primarily due to erudition by foreigners about Japan and is a reflection on our ability to disseminate or lack of it. "GabbyTokyo" aims to develop affinity among foreigners towards Japan by helping them learn conversational Japanese. In addition, we will strive for a two-way exchange between Japan and the world.
