PREMIER Announces Intel® Select Solution for uCPE Launch Plans

FARIBAULT, Minn., May 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- PREMIER, a provider of Carrier-grade products and services, is partnering with Intel with the intent of launching an Intel® Select Solution for uCPE ("Universal Customer Premises Equipment"). This unique and complementary collaboration leverages our overall partner ecosystem to supply a simplified and tailored solution benchmarked for our customers' workloads. The Pi-CON solution, once verified as an Intel Select Solution for uCPE, will deliver optimal performance as a key component to the enterprises' pivot in technology. 

uCPE enables network operators (Communications Service Providers & Multiple System Operators) to bring virtualized and non-virtualized (bare metal) network services to servicing both the Residential and Enterprise Markets. The proliferation of SD-WAN, security, and routing software solutions on the market must be stitched together with an optimized hardware platform tuned to work with each unique service chain.
