Jim Banowsky Joins AmpThink as General CounselAmpThink announced today that Jim Banowsky has joined the company as General Counsel. In his new role Mr. Banowsky will handle a wide array of legal duties, with special emphasis on helping AmpThink to grow its patent portfolio. Mr. Banowsky's distinguished career includes several years as a software engineer for Boeing and TRW, and 12 years at Microsoft (News - Alert) where he was a Senior Patent Attorney. Jim's patent work includes extensive experience with software patents, and he has worked in areas of patent policy, portfolio management, preparation and prosecution, both domestically and internationally. "Jim is a well-rounded attorney that will strengthen our company in many ways," said Bill Anderson, President of AmpThink.
