Canadians click to choose favourite restaurants on SkipTheDishesMore than a half-million votes already in for the 2018 Restaurant Award Series WINNIPEG, April 16, 2018 /CNW/ - Hundreds of restaurants on the SkipTheDishes network are vying to win a coveted 2018 Restaurant Award Series award and the public recognition that comes with the honours. In the two weeks since voting launched, more than a half-million customer votes are already counted as Canadians vote daily for some of their most-loved restaurants. Presented by SkipTheDishes, the 2018 Restaurant Award Series will recognize some of the highest-peforming restaurants on the Skip network, in various cuisine categories. Voting continues until April 30 and every vote counts as an entry for the grand prize of $1000 in Skip credits. Customers can vote once a day, every day before April 30 to boost their chances to win. There are 10 opportunities to win $100 in Skip credits towards customers' next delivery craving. Prizes for restaurants include a marketing services package, certificates of recognition and a broad range of promotional materials to publicly recognize the winners. All competing restaurants are nominated based on their Skip score, which ranks restaurants on a scale from one to 10 based on reviews, popularity and overall customer experience. The participating cities are Calgary, Edmonton, Hamilton, Kitchener/Waterloo, Mississauga, Regina, Saskatoon, Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, and Winnipeg. Winners will be announced May 14, 2018.
