Books-A-Million Celebrates Teachers with Bi-Annual Educator Week, April 7-14

Teachers do so much more than educate - they mentor, coach sports teams, sponsor school organizations, lead tutorials and serve as role models for their students. To thank them for the vital role they play throughout their communities, Books-A-Million is honoring teachers with its bi-annual Educator Week. From April 7-14, teachers can save 25 percent on any purchase made in-store or online and can also enter to win sweepstakes prizes! Additionally, teachers are invited to a special in-store kick-off event at all 215 locations on Saturday, April 7 from 2-4 p.m.!

As part of Educator Week, teachers who bring their school ID to any Books-A-Million location will have the opportunity to register for their official Educator Card, which grants them access to benefits and discounts offered during Educator Week and throughout the year!

"Teachers dedicate so much of their lives to educating the next generation," said Scott Kappler, chief marketing officer at Books-A-Million. "Holding Educator Week to celebrate and thank the men and women who lead and inspire our nation's youth is an honor we are proud to share with the communities across the country."

All Books-A-Million locations will host a special kick-off event on Saturday, April 7 from 2-4 p.m. to launch the weeklong celebration! Teachers are invited to visit their local stores to pick up free classroom resource materials, a complimentary Joe Muggs coffee or tea and enjoy their favorite flavor of Yogurt Mountain soft-serve - at select locations.
