Chiayi County Government has invited LOL to hold single battles to call on e-sports players from around the world to gather at the International and Friendship Area in the Southern Branch of the Palace Museum for the battles. It also collaborated with Niantic, a well-known U.S. softare company, to select 12 routes with a total of 72 sights as the game base for Ingress. It is expected that Ingress players "attacking" the Taiwan Lantern Festival in Chiayi will be a hit. Pokémon GO will design exclusive plots for the 2018 Taiwan Lantern Festival.
