CloudBees Announces Evangelina Vallez as Vice President of Human Resources


CloudBees, Inc., the hub of enterprise Jenkins and DevOps, today announced that Evangelina Vallez has joined CloudBees as vice president of human resources, reporting to Sacha Labourey, CEO.

Evangelina "Lina" Vallez brings more than 15 years of HR experience in leading, collaborating and influencing effectively across multifunction organizations to achieve best-case business results. Throughout Vallez's career she has managed HR functions such as performance management, employee relations, the people side of mergers and acquisitions, conflict resolution and organizational design. Prior to joining CloudBees, Vallez held the position of senior director of human resources with Splunk (News - Alert) Inc. for five years.

"Lina has a versatile background within human resources and employee relations and I am pleased to welcome her to the CloudBees executive team," said Sacha Labourey, CEO and co-founder of CloudBees. Vallez started her career at United Defense (acquired by BAE Systems (News - Alert)) and went on to become compliance officer, managing ethics programs, affirmative action, training and other core activities for the employees at the Santa Clara division. In 2001, she joined Comcast (formerly AT&T (News - Alert) Broadband), managing approximately 4,000 employees in multi-site locations and overseeing a team of eleven HR professionals. She also worked with Hewlett Packard (HP) Software Business Group from 2004-2010 providing strategic guidance and partnership to various client groups such as business intelligence, marketing, services, inside sales and sales operations in areas such as: organization design, talent management, performance management and engagement. Vallez holds a bachelor's in organizational behavior from the University of San Francisco.
