Exclusively for Online Revolution 11.11, Lazada Group across 6 countries generated more than IDR 1.6 Trillion of Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), a 171% year-over-year growth. While for Indonesia, during 11.11 last Saturday, Lazada Indonesia experience almost 7x Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) uplift compare to average normal day. This also marks the beginning of Online Revolution Month which will continue well into Hari Belanja Online Nasional (Harbolnas) in 12 December (12.12).

In a single day, shoppers in Southeast Asia ordered 6.5 million items, an explosive growth of 191% over last year. They snapped up popular items from a wide range of categories such as mobile phones, diapers and women's fashion. Over 70% of orders were placed from mobile devices, emphasizing that the combination of meteoric smartphone adoption and a fast-growing middle class is a key driver of the Online Revolution.
