CALIBRE Awarded National Library of Medicine Data Review Contract

CALIBRE Systems, Inc. (CALIBRE) has announced their win of a new contract with the National Library of Medicine.

CALIBRE will support the National Library of Medicine by reviewing and entering metadata on journal article citations that have been approved for indexing in MEDLINE, a database of bibliographic information for medicine and the life sciences. "CALIBRE's expertise in electronic records and health information management enables us to supporta complex and essential task for the National Library of Medicine," said Joe Martore, CALIBRE President & CEO. "PMDM allows the publishers of medical journals to update, correct, or delete their citations in the MEDLINE database at any time, and CALIBRE helps to ensure that all journal article citations are up to date.
