Ltd., the leading provider of ICT solutions in Asia Pacific, announced latest 4G/LTE Smart Bus networking application by providing M500 - 4G/LTE Dual SIMs In-Vehicle Router for real-time vehicle tracking and WiFi (News - Alert) Hotspot service in the Philippines to improve the overall bus experience. Featuring the latest dual 4G/LTE technology, multi-WANs, GPS/GLONASS, and Wi-Fi access point, Billion M500 enables remarkable smart bus application by delivering reliable internet connectivity supporting status monitoring, location tracking, and emergency detection.

Designed for In-Vehicle Applications, Billion M500 is certified by US Military Standard MIL-STD-810G Compliant and E-Mark (E1) that can endure wide temperature range -40°C ~ 60 °C, humidity, high shock and vibration with compact enclosure and industrial-grade components. With flexible input range from DC 10V~56V and ignition sensing control, M500 is suitable for any size of the vehicles that can be automatically turned on/off for low voltage power protection to avoid battery draining.

Supporting dual 4G/LTEand dual-SIM, M500 can maximize wireless coverage and deliver an always-on internet connectivity with auto failover between EWAN and 4G/LTE (News - Alert), enabling live video streaming, communication, and onboard surveillance to track the real-time vehicle status. A pay-for-use Wi-Fi Hotspot captive portal allows passengers to enjoy cellular services along with advertisement push options.

M500 also serves as the communication backbone between drivers and dispatchers by tracking real-time information, such as location identification with embedded GPS/GLONASS functionality, engine speed, time, driving route, oil consumption data, and vehicle driving operations through the On-Board-Diagnosis (OBD) system to further ensure comfort and safety for bus passengers. An alarm notification will be sent to dispatch center when the system detects abnormal events.
