Oracle Applications Users Group Presents Innovative Ways to Learn and Network at COLLABORATE 17


The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), an independent, global, member-led organization that maximizes users' investment in Oracle (News - Alert) and partner solutions, co-hosts COLLABORATE 17: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community conference in partnership with the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG) and Quest International Users Group (Quest), April 2 - 6 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

The full conference agenda includes more than 1,200 educational sessions featuring product training across the entire family of Oracle Applications grouped into 17 tracks, including application upgrades; architecture, big data and cloud computing; asset lifecycle management; customer relationship management; enterprise performance management/business intelligence; executive development; financials; human capital management; supply chain; user experience and mobile; and more.

The COLLABORATE 17 - OAUG Forum features sessions created by Oracle users for Oracle users addressing emerging topics and trends such as hybrid cloud, professional development and business analytics. The searchable online session scheduler is available now, allowing visitors to browse topics and build a personalized learning agenda.

Attendees are encouraged to take advantage of deeper learning options like in-depth OAUG Training Day Workshops on April 2 covering complex topics like Oracle's BI Cloud Service (BICS), Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x upgrades, mastering subledger reporting and Oracle Master Data Management (MDM in intensive half- and full-day optional workshops; collaborative Power Hour sessions covering small-group discussions on E-Business Tax, global ERP implementations, understanding TCA and the new Master Data Repository and more; and three comprehensive Exploration Series, where subject matter experts cover a single topic from end-to-end over several sessions in one day. These sessions include Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C). This year's International Program presents content specifically for customers in Europe, Latin America, Brazil and India.



Oracle community members are exposed to various networking opportunities to further their professional connections and exchange ideas with several OAUG Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings held throughout the conference, the OAUG Geo Land gathering of regional user communities, Oracle EPM/Hyperion-specific education and networking throughout the week and a Primavera Forum including more than 65 sessions targeted at C-level/management, functional and technical users.

Representatives from Oracle are scheduled to present a number of education and Oracle Roadmap sessions, participate in SIG meetings, provide demos in the exhibit hall and meet one-on-one with attendees throughout the week. Also, Oracle's Usability and Interface Product Testing Lab encourages Oracle customers and partners to participate in user feedback sessions to influence application design and direction.
