Huawei Launched 2 New Smart Phones in Germany


(Sinocast Computers & Electronics Beat (China) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BEIJING, September 5, SinoCast -- Huawei launched two flagship smart phones, Ascend Mate 7 and Ascend G7, in Germany on September 4 with a purpose to continue to drive the sales of its smart phones worldwide.



Ascend Mate 7, in addition to hardware configuration, has a bright spot, fingerprint recognition. In addition to some settings for privacy and unlocking with one touch, users can make self-timer through touch the phone back. The smart power-saving feature can ensure two-day power supply under uninterrupted operation. There are two choices, 2GB RAM + 16GB storage space (EUR 499) and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage space (EUR 599).

Ascend G7, with a metal body and body thickness of only 7.6mm, owns three power-saving modes; the front camera offers a wide-angle mode, continues the previous beauty feature and more suitable for self-timer; it is sold at EUR 299.


In 2013, Huawei's smart phone shipments reached 52 million units. As planned, Huawei will sell 80 million smart phones in 2014.

According to IDC, in the second quarter of 2014, Huawei's market share in the global smart phone market has grown to 6.9%, the third place worldwide.
