Mitsubishi Electric to Support Landslides Relief Efforts in Hiroshima


TOKYO --(Business Wire)--

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO:6503) announced today that the Mitsubishi Electric (News - Alert) Group will donate a total of 10 million yen to aid victims and support recovery efforts in connection with destructive landslides that occurred in Hiroshima, Japan on August 20.

Mitsubishi Electric will also coordinate a matching gift program through the Mitsubishi Electric SOCIO-ROOTS (News - Alert) Fund, under which contributions from employees will be matched by the company.

The Mitsubishi Electric Group expresses its deepest sympathies to those affected by the disaster and its sincerest best wishes for a speedy recovey.
