Fujitsu Offers Three New Tier III Datacenters in North America

(Canada Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug. 18, 2014 /CNW/ -- Fujitsu, the leading information and communication technology (ICT) company, today announced the availability of new Tier III datacenter capabilities in New York and California, in addition to the planned opening of its new Tier III datacenter in Regina, Saskatchewan.

These specialized Tier III datacenters in the U.S. and Canada will offer Fujitsu customers a premier network, systems integration and application management services, as well as outsourcing and private cloud management services. Importantly, they also will offer Japanese bilingual services, a significant added benefit to the company's extensive customer base of Japan Originated Companies (JOC). These services are of particular importance to the Fujitsu customer network outside the U.S., where many JOC customers seek to globalize and expand their own footprint into the Americas.

"Companies across the world are demanding more enhanced services and solutions to help them realize their globalization ambitions," says Bob Pryor, head of Americas and corporate vice president, Fujitsu Ltd. "By delivering Japanese bi-lingual datacenter capabilities, Fujitsu further demonstrates its long-standing commitment to helping customers achieve their business objectives, in this case delivering unique capabilities to JOC customers well beyond the scope of its world-class datacenter offering." Through these locations, Fujitsu will deploy their state-of-the-art datacenter services, including big data analysis, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), deployment of cloud applications, as well as secure storage and disaster recovery. Connecting users through a dedicated network, Fujitsu will enable customers to reduce their risk exposure to accidents and natural disasters, and maintain full compliance and security standards in line with new legislation and data residency requirements.

With a track record of success and nearly 80 years providing mission-critical ICT support, Fujitsu has more than two million square feet of datacenter capacity from more than 150 datacenters spread across North America, Asia and Europe. The new datacenters join the company's other locations in the Americas region including: Sunnyvale, California Dallas, Texas Montreal, Quebec Columbus, Ohio Durham, North Carolina TrinidadPress ContactsFujitsu America, Inc.
