The EnGenius EGS7252FP 48-Port Gigabit PoE+ L2 Managed Switch with 4 Dual-Speed SFP and EGS7228FP 24-Port Gigabit PoE+ L2 Managed Switch with 4 Dual-Speed SFP are full-featured Gigabit Ethernet switches with comprehensive Layer 2 switching capabilities and PoE support for connecting and delivering data at Gigabit speeds to computers, VoIP phones, access points, and IP cameras throughout the office. The switches combine a robust feature-set with business-class performance and reliability, and do not require recurring subscription, licensing, or maintenance costs, delivering a lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) compared to competing solutions.

The EGS7252FP and EGS7228FP incorporate four SMP slots to support optional fiber uplinks for connectivity over longer distances, uplink redundancy and failover. The switches, which can easily be added to an existing rack of L2 and L3 switches and managed via an intuitive Web interface or SNMP, support 802.1Q VLANs for improved convergence and bandwidth utilization and QoS to optimize the performance of latency-sensitive applications such as video conferences and VoIP calls.

The EGS7252FP features 48 Gigabit PoE+ ports and supports IEEE802.3at/af with a total PoE budget of 740W to provide power and fast data speeds to PoE-enabled devices. The switch also supports IEEE802.1X and RADIUS Authentication, Access Control List / Port Security, IEEE802.3ad Link Aggregation, and IGMP and MLD snooping for advanced multicast featuring. The EGS7252FP is now available at a MSRP of $1,299.

The EGS7228FP provides 24 Gigabit ports and supports IEEE802.3at/af with a total PoE budget of 370W. The switch supports 802.1X port-based authentication, IGMP Snooping v1/v2/v3 and IEEE (News - Alert) 802.3ad Link Aggregation. The EGS7228FP is available now at a MSRP of $799.
