GCA Education Services Awarded Blackfoot, ID School District #55's Custodial Services Contract

GCA Education Services, a division of GCA Services Group, Inc., a leading national provider of facility services, was recently awarded a five-year contract by Blackfoot, ID School District #55 to provide custodial services for its 15 facilities, which encompass over 780,000 square feet of space. The District serves 4,282 students.

After completing an extensive Request for Proposal (RFP) process, Blackfoot School District #55 selected GCA, based on its outstanding record of service to K-12 school districts throughout the United States.

"GCA provided the District with a comprehensive and realistic proposal that specifically addressed and, quite frankly, exceeded our expectations," said Brian Kress, Business Manager for Blackfoot School District #55. "We were especially impressed with GCA's plan and sensitivity in caring for our existing District custodial employees and how thos employees will be transitioned to GCA's payroll," he added. "GCA will be providing our custodial department with $108,000 of new equipment, additional staffing, systems and employee training while delivering net savings in excess of 12.9%. With GCA managing our custodial department, it will allow us, as educators, to focus more of our time and resources back into the classroom."
